Hadith 9764

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ يَعْنِي مَوْلَى التَّوْءَمَةِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم : " مَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَتَفَرَّقُوا ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، وَيُصَلُّوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، إِلَّا كَانَ مَجْلِسُهُمْ تِرَةً عَلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Those people who gather in a place for a meeting but do not remember Allah in it nor send blessings upon the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and then disperse, it will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection.
