Hadith 9754

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم : " مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ غَرِيضًا كَذَا قَالَ كَمَا أُنْزِلَ ، فَلْيَقْرَأْهُ عَلَى قِرَاءَةِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever wants to recite the Qur'an firmly in the manner in which it was revealed, he should recite it according to the style of Ibn Umm Abd (Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him).
