Hadith 9752

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ الضَّبِّيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم : " ثَلَاثٌ إِذَا خَرَجْنَ لَمْ يَنْفَعْ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ ، أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْرًا : طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا ، وَالدُّخَانُ ، وَدَابَّةُ الْأَرْضِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are three things, when they appear, the faith of a soul will not benefit it if it did not believe before, or did not earn goodness in its faith. (1) The rising of the sun from the west (2) The smoke (3) The beast of the earth.
