حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، وَالْحَسَنِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ ، وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Saying "Subhan Allah" to remind the imam is for men, and clapping is for women.
