حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم : " مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا فَلَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِيهِ إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَيْهِمْ تِرَةً ، وَمَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ مَشَى طَرِيقًا فَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ تِرَةً ، وَمَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ فَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ اللَّهَ إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ تِرَةً " . حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أبي إِسْحَاقَ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ : " إِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Those people who gather in a place for a meeting but do not remember Allah in it, it will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection. And any person who walks on a path but does not remember Allah while walking, that walking too will be a cause of regret for him on the Day of Resurrection. And any person who comes to his bed but does not remember Allah, that too will be a cause of regret for him.
