Hadith 955

Abdullah bin Yasar says that once Amr bin Harith came to visit Sayyiduna Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) during his illness. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: "You have come to visit Hasan in his illness, but what about that which you are hiding in your heart?" Amr said: "You are not my Lord that you may do as you wish with my heart." Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Even so, we will not refrain from advising you. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'When a Muslim goes to visit his sick brother, Allah appoints seventy thousand angels for him who pray for his forgiveness every moment of the day until evening, and if he goes in the evening, they pray for him every moment of the night until morning.'"
