Hadith 9507

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى مَوْلَى جَعْدَةَ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ : " مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَابَ طَعَامًا قَطُّ ، كَانَ إِذَا اشْتَهَاهُ أَكَلَهُ ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَشْتَهِهِ سَكَتَ " .
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he never saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) finding fault with any food; if he desired it, he would eat it, and if he did not desire it, he would remain silent.
