Hadith 9488

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَقَدْ رَآنِي الْحَقَّ ، إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَتَشَبَّهَ بِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever sees me in a dream should be certain that he has seen me, for Satan cannot take my form or appearance.
