Hadith 9487

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ مَوْلَى اللَّيْثِيِّينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا سَبَقَ إِلَّا فِي خُفٍّ ، أَوْ حَافِرٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Only camels or horses may be raced.
