حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، وَوَكِيعٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَوْ أُهْدِيَتْ لِي ذِرَاعٌ لَقَبِلْتُ ، وَلَوْ دُعِيتُ إِلَى كُرَاعٍ لَأَجَبْتُ " ، قَالَ وَكِيعٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : " لَوْ أُهْدِيَتْ إِلَيَّ ذِرَاعٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I am invited to a meal of only a foreleg, I will accept it, and if I am invited to a meal of only a foot, I will still accept it.
