Hadith 9474

حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . وَعَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا سَمِعَ أَحَدُكُمْ الْأَذَانَ ، وَالْإِنَاءُ عَلَى يَدِهِ ، فَلَا يَدَعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ مِنْهُ " .
It is narrated from Khawaja Hasan Basri as Mursal that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you hears the call to prayer (adhan) and a vessel is in his hand, he should not leave it until he has finished eating.
