حَدَّثَنَا
قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي
ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ
دَرَّاجٍ ، عَنِ
ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :
" إِنَّ لِلْمَسَاجِدِ أَوْتَادًا الْمَلَائِكَةُ جُلَسَاؤُهُمْ ، إِنْ غَابُوا يَفْتَقِدُونَهُمْ ، وَإِنْ مَرِضُوا عَادُوهُمْ ، وَإِنْ كَانُوا فِي حَاجَةٍ أَعَانُوهُمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Some people are the pegs of the mosque; the angels are their companions. If they are absent, the angels search for them; if they become ill, the angels visit them; and if they are occupied in some work, the angels help them.
