Hadith 9388

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم : " لَوْ آمَنَ بِي عَشَرَةٌ مِنْ أَحْبَارِ الْيَهُودِ ، لَآمَنَ بِي كُلُّ يَهُودِيٍّ عَلَى وَجْهِ الْأَرْضِ " . قَالَ كَعْبٌ : اثْنَا عَشَرَ ، مِصْدَاقُهُمْ فِي سُورَةِ الْمَائِدَةِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If ten of the great Jewish scholars believe in me, then every Jew on the face of the earth would believe in me.
