Hadith 9372

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْمَهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : يَا مَهْرِيُّ ، " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ ، وَكَسْبِ الْمُومِسَةِ ، وَكَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ ، وَكَسْبِ عَسِيبِ الْفَحْلِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The earnings of the cupper, the earnings from prostitution, the price of a dog, and the fee given for the mating of a bull have been forbidden.
