حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَحْسِرَ الْفُرَاتُ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ ، فَيَقْتَتِلَ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسُ ، حَتَّى يُقْتَلَ مِنْ كُلِّ عَشَرَةٍ تِسْعَةٌ وَيَبْقَى وَاحِدٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Near the Day of Judgment, the water of the Euphrates River will recede, uncovering a mountain of gold from beneath it. People will begin to fight over it, to the extent that out of every ten men, nine will be killed.
