Hadith 9355

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ حَرَكَةً فِي دُبُرِهِ ، فَأَشْكَلَ عَلَيْهِ أَحْدَثَ ، أَوْ لَمْ يُحْدِثْ ، فَلَا يَنْصَرِفْ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا ، أَوْ يَجِدَ رِيحًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you feels movement between his buttocks during prayer and becomes uncertain whether his ablution has broken or not, he should not leave the prayer until he hears a sound or perceives a smell.
