Hadith 9335

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ هَذَا الْحَرَّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ ، فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The intensity of heat is due to the effect of the heat of Hell, therefore perform the prayer when it becomes cooler.
