Hadith 9334

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَا يَسُومُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ ، وَلَا يَخْطُبُ عَلَى خِطْبَتِهِ " .
It is narrated with the previous chain that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade that a man should send his proposal of marriage over the proposal of his brother, or conduct his sale over the sale of his brother.
