Hadith 9328

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمُؤَذِّنُ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ مَدَّ صَوْتِهِ ، وَيَشْهَدُ لَهُ كُلُّ رَطْبٍ وَيَابِسٍ ، وَشَاهِدُ الصَّلَاةِ يُكْتَبُ لَهُ خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ حَسَنَةً ، وَيُكَفَّرُ عَنْهُ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Wherever the voice of the muezzin reaches, forgiveness is granted due to his blessing, because every wet and dry thing bears witness in his favor. And for the one who participates in the congregational prayer, twenty-five good deeds are written, and the interval between two prayers becomes an expiation.
