حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ
مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ
أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
" إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامٍه ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ ، فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ ، أَوْ لُقْمَةً أَوْ لُقْمَتَيْنِ ، شُعْبَةُ شَكَّ ، فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ عِلَاجَهُ وَحَرَّهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you has a servant who has taken care of preparing the food for him, he should make him sit with him and feed him. If he cannot do so, then he should give him one or two morsels (of food).
