Hadith 9058

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ : قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَنَرَى رَبَّنَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ؟ ، قَالَ : " هَلْ تَرَوْنَ الشَّمْسَ بِنِصْفِ النَّهَارِ لَيْسَ فِي السَّمَاءِ سَحَابَةٌ ؟ " . قَالُوا : نَعَمْ . قَالَ : " هَلْ تَرَوْنَ الْقَمَرَ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ لَيْسَ فِي السَّمَاءِ سَحَابَةٌ ؟ " . قَالُوا : نَعَمْ . قَالَ : " فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتَرَوُنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، وَلَا تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ ، كَمَا لَا تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِمَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that some people asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), will we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Can you see the sun at midday when there are no clouds?" They said, "Yes!" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Can you see the full moon at night when there are no clouds?" They said, "Yes!" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, you will surely see your Lord, and you will not face any difficulty in seeing Him, just as you do not face any difficulty in seeing the moon and the sun."
