سُهَيْلٌ ، عَنْ
أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :
" مَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ فَتَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ غَيْرِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ، إِلَّا كَأَنَّمَا تَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ جِيفَةِ حِمَارٍ ، وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ الْمَجْلِسُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً " .
It is narrated with the same chain that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When some people gather at a place and disperse without mentioning Allah, it is as if they dispersed from the carcass of a dead donkey, and that gathering will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection.
