Hadith 8810

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَدْ أَيِسَ أَنْ يُعْبَدَ بِأَرْضِكُمْ هَذِهِ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ قَدْ رَضِيَ مِنْكُمْ بِمَا تَحْقِرُونَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Satan has despaired of being worshipped in your land of Arabia in two major ways, but he is pleased with those things which you consider insignificant.
