Hadith 8800

حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " بِتَغْطِيَةِ الْوَضُوءِ ، وَإِيكَاءِ السِّقَاءِ ، وَإِكْفَاءِ الْإِنَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed us to cover the water for ablution at night before sleeping, to tie the mouth of the water-skin, and to turn the vessels upside down.
