Hadith 8785

حَدَّثَنَا الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " جُزُّوا الشَّوَارِبَ ، وَاعْفُوا اللِّحَى ، وَخَالِفُوا الْمَجُوسَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Trim the moustaches well and let the beard grow fully, and oppose the Magians.
