Hadith 8774

حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " كَرَمُ الرَّجُلِ دِينُهُ ، وَمُرُوءَتُهُ عَقْلُهُ ، وَحَسَبُهُ خُلُقُهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A person's generosity, his religion, his chivalry, his intellect, and his lineage are his morals.
