Abdu Khair narrates that once Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) taught us the way of ablution of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). So first, a boy poured water on his hands, he cleaned his hands, then put them into the vessel, rinsed his mouth, put water into his nose, washed his face three times, washed both arms including the elbows three times each, then again put his hands into the vessel and dipped his hand underneath it, then took it out and rubbed it on the other hand, and wiped his head once with both palms, and washed both feet including the ankles three times each, then made a handful of water with his palm and drank a little from it, and said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ablution in this manner.
