Hadith 8671

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا سَرَقَ عَبْدُ أَحَدِكُمْ ، فَلْيَبِعْهُ وَلَوْ بِنَشٍّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the slave of any one of you commits theft, he should sell him, even if it is for a small price.
