Hadith 8668

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " الْعَجْوَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَهِيَ شِفَاءٌ مِنَ السُّمِّ ، وَالْكَمْأَةُ مِنَ الْمَنِّ ، وَمَاؤُهَا شِفَاءٌ لِلْعَيْنِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Ajwa dates are dates from Paradise, and they are a cure for poison. And truffle is also a part of "manna" (which was sent down upon the Children of Israel), and its water is a cure for the eyes.
