حَدَّثَنَا الأسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ ، فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ ، فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الْآخَرِ دَوَاءً " ، قَالَ حَمَّادٌ : وَحَبِيبُ بْنُ الشَّهِيدِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a fly falls into the vessel of any one of you, then he should remember that in one wing of the fly there is healing and in the other there is disease. Therefore, he should fully dip the fly into it (using it is left to his discretion). The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
