Hadith 8644

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قال : " خَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ الْمُقَدَّمُ ، وَشَرُّ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ الْمُؤَخَّرُ ، وَخَيْرُ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ الْمُؤَخَّر ، وَشَرُّ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ الْمُقَدَّمُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The first row among the rows of men is the best, and the last row is the closest to evil; and among the rows of women, the last row is the best, and the first row is the closest to evil.
