حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ جَاءَتْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ تطلب ميراثها من رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَا لَهَا : إنا سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " إِنِّي لَا أُوَرَّثُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that Hazrat Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) once came to Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Farooq Azam (may Allah be pleased with him) to ask for the inheritance of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so both of them said: We heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say, "My inheritance will not be distributed from my wealth."
