حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيد ، عَنْ أَبِي هرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ مَوْتُ النَّجَاشِيِّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ ، وَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ ، فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) received the news of the death of Najashi, the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) formed rows behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led their funeral prayer and said four takbirs in it.
