Hadith 8570

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " مَنْ صَلَّى يَعْنِي مِنَ الصُّبْحِ رَكْعَةً ، ثُمَّ طَلَعَتْ الشَّمْسُ ، فَلْيُصَلِّ إِلَيْهَا أُخْرَى " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever gets one rak'ah of the Fajr prayer before sunrise should join it with the second rak'ah.
