Hadith 854

(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، أخبرنا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ هَانِئِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : " الْحَسَنُ أَشْبَهُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ الصَّدْرِ إِلَى الرَّأْسِ ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ أَشْبَهُ مَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ " .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) resembled the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the chest up to the head, and Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) resembled the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the lower part.
