Hadith 8491

حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، وَحَجَّاجٌ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَالَ يُونُسُ : عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " مَا مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ نَبِيٌّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ أُعْطِيَ مِنَ الْآيَاتِ مَا مِثْلُهُ آمَنَ عَلَيْهِ الْبَشَرُ ، وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ الَّذِي أُوتِيتُ وَحْيًا أَوْحَاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيَّ ، وَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ تَبَعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every prophet was certainly given some miracles upon which people believed, and the miracle that has been given to me is the revelation from Allah which He sends to me, and I hope that on the Day of Resurrection I will have more followers than all the other prophets.
