Hadith 8471

حَدَّثَنَا فَزَارَةُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي فُلَيْحٌ ، عَنْ هِلَالٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ لَيَتَرَاءَوْنَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَمَا تَرَاءَوْنَ أَوْ تَرَوْنَ الْكَوْكَبَ الدُّرِّيَّ الْغَارِبَ فِي الْأُفُقِ وَالطَّالِعَ ، فِي تَفَاضُلِ الدَّرَجَاتِ " قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أُولَئِكَ النَّبِيُّونَ ! قَالَ : " بَلَى وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، وَأَقْوَامٌ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَصَدَّقُوا الْمُرْسَلِينَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The people of Paradise will see each other in Paradise just as you see a bright star at different levels, more or less. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Will these people be the noble Prophets (peace be upon them)?" He replied, "No, by the One in whose hand is the life of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), these will be those people who believed in Allah and His Messenger and affirmed the other Prophets (peace be upon them)."
