Hadith 8443

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا تَجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ مَقَابِرَ ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَفِرُّ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ إِنْ يَسْمَعْ سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ تُقْرَأُ فِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not make your houses graveyards, for surely Satan flees from the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.
