Hadith 8440

حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، حَدَّثَنِي الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ فِي سَنَةِ إِحْدَى وَخَمْسِينَ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ اشْتَرَى طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of grain before taking possession of it.
