Hadith 843

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، أخبرنا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسْنَاءِ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنْ أُضَحِّيَ عَنْهُ " ، فَأَنَا أُضَحِّي عَنْهُ أَبَدًا .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once instructed me to offer a sacrifice on his behalf, so I will continue to offer a sacrifice on his behalf until the end.
