Hadith 8357

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِثَلَاثٍ لَا أَدَعُهُنَّ : " صَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ، وَأَنْ لَا أَنَامَ إِلَّا عَلَى وِتْرٍ ، وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that my beloved friend Abul Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him) advised me regarding three things which I will not leave until my death: (1) to fast three days every month, (2) to perform Witr prayer before sleeping, (3) to take a bath on Friday.
