Hadith 8349

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَفْضُلُ صَلَاةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ عَلَى الْوَحْدَةِ سَبْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The superiority of prayer offered in congregation over prayer offered alone is twenty-seven degrees.
