Hadith 8344

حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شُبْرُمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَحَقُّ مِنِّي بِحُسْنِ الصُّحْبَةِ ؟ قَالَ : " أُمُّكَ " ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ مَنْ ؟ قَالَ : " ثُمَّ أُمُّكَ " ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ مَنْ ؟ قَالَ : " ثُمَّ أُمُّكَ " ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ مَنْ ؟ قَالَ : " ثم أَبَوكَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man presented this question in the court of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "Who among the people is most deserving of my good companionship?" He replied, "Your mother." He asked, "Then who?" He replied, "Your mother." He asked, "Then who?" He replied, "Your mother." He asked, "Then who?" He replied, "Your father."
