Hadith 8220

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : " كَذَّبَنِي عَبْدِي وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ ذَلِكَ ، وَشَتَمَنِي وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ ذَلِكَ ، تَكْذِيبُهُ إِيَّايَ أَنْ يَقُولَ : فَلَنْ يُعِيدَنَا كَمَا بَدَأَنَا ، وَأَمَّا شَتْمُهُ إِيَّايَ يَقُولُ : اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا ، وَأَنَا الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَمْ أَلِدْ وَلَمْ أُولَدْ ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِي كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ " .
And the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Allah Almighty says: My servant denies Me, though he should not do so, and he abuses Me, though he has no right to do so. As for his denial, it is that he says: Allah will not create me again as He created me the first time. And as for his abusing Me, it is that he says: Allah has taken a son, while I am the Self-Sufficient (As-Samad), who neither begets nor is begotten, and there is none comparable to Me.
