وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا مَا أَحَدُكُمْ اشْتَرَى لِقْحَةً مُصَرَّاةً ، أَوْ شَاةً مُصَرَّاةً ، فَهُوَ بِخَيْرِ النَّظَرَيْنِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَحْلُبَهَا إِمَّا يَرْضَى ، وَإِلَّا فَلْيَرُدَّهَا وَصَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ " .
And the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever (being deceived) buys a she-camel or a goat whose teats have been tied, then he has the choice of two things, whichever is better for him: either he keeps the animal with himself (and settles the matter), or he returns the animal to its owner and gives along with it one sa’ of dates.
