Hadith 8199
اُردوEn
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَّخِذُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَنِيهِ ، إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ ، فَأَيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ آذَيْتُهُ ، أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ ، أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ ، أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ ، فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ صَلَاةً وَزَكَاةً وَقُرْبَةً تُقَرِّبُهُ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
And the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah, I seek from You a promise which You will never break with me, that if I, being human, have caused any harm to a Muslim, or spoken harshly to him, or struck him, or cursed him, then make it for him a source of mercy, purification, and a means of nearness to You on the Day of Resurrection.
