Hadith 8180

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ فِي الْإِنْسَانِ عَظْمًا لَا تَأْكُلُهُ الْأَرْضُ أَبَدًا ، فِيهِ يُرَكَّبُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " ، قَالُوا : أَيُّ عَظْمٍ هُوَ ؟ قَالَ : " عَجْمُ الذَّنَبِ " .
And the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In the human body there is a bone which the earth never consumes. From it, a person will be reassembled and raised on the Day of Resurrection. The people asked: Which bone is that? The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The backbone.
