Hadith 8114

حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَمْعَانَ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يُحَدِّثُ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُبَايَعُ لِرَجُلٍ بَيْنَ الرُّكْنِ وَالْمَقَامِ ، وَلَنْ يَسْتَحِلَّ الْبَيْتَ إِلَّا أَهْلُهُ ، فَإِذَا اسْتَحَلُّوهُ فَلَا تَسْأَلْ عَنْ هَلَكَةِ الْعَرَبِ ، ثُمَّ تَجِيءُ الْحَبَشَةُ فَيُخَرِّبُونَهُ خَرَابًا لَا يَعْمُرُ بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا ، هُمْ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَخْرِجُونَ كَنْزَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A man will be pledged allegiance to between the Black Stone and the Station of Ibrahim, and the sanctity of the House of Allah will be violated by its own guardians. When people violate the sanctity of the House of Allah, then do not ask about the destruction of the Arabs. Rather, the Abyssinians will come and they will destroy it in such a way that it will never be inhabited again, and these will be the people who will extract its treasure.
