Hadith 8104

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى المعنى ، واللفظ لفظ يحيى بن آدم قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخَلَاءَ ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِتَوْرٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ فَاسْتَنْجَى ، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بيَدَهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ غَسَلَهَا ، ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ بِتَوْرٍ آخَرَ ، فَتَوَضَّأَ بِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet once entered the toilet. I brought a vessel containing water. The Prophet performed istinja, then rubbed his hand on the ground and washed it. Then I brought a vessel, and the Prophet performed ablution from it.
