Hadith 8103

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ ، لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا يَخْذُلُهُ وَلَا يَحْقِرُهُ ، وَحَسْبُ امْرِئٍ مِنَ الشَّرِّ أَنْ يَحْقِرَ أَخَاهُ الْمُسْلِمَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim; he does not oppress him, nor does he abandon him helpless, nor does he humiliate him. It is enough evil for a Muslim that he considers his Muslim brother insignificant.
